• PernixData is creating a storage product that is disruptive yet very elegant in how it slides into an existing enterprise virtualization infrastructure. This is the speaker's second attempt at creating enterprise software magic, the first one was the wildly successful VMware ESX Server. In this talk, we will present the motivation, design, results, and anecdotes from creating PernixData's technology and product.
• Presented by: Satyam Vaghani is co-founder and CTO at PernixData. Prior to PernixData, he was a Principal Engineer at VMware, where he was most known for creating VMFS, VAAI and Virtual Volumes over his 10 year stay. Satyam received his Masters in CS from Stanford.
