Illumio Webcast: Using Micro-Segmentation to Secure Your Hybrid Multi-Cloud Environment

Illumio Webcast: Using Micro-Segmentation to Secure Your Hybrid Multi-Cloud Environment

Topic: Virtualization has freed organizations from physical machine constraints while increasing the utilization of existing assets—but at a price. Using virtualization technologies like ESXi and vSAN, VMware customers can deploy applications in a hybrid multi-cloud environment. While this has created opportunities, it has also brought challenges around securing virtual assets and distributed data sources, as well as increasing compliance demands for applications under regulatory mandates. With the rise of hybrid multi-cloud architectures, micro-segmentation is fast becoming a foundational layer of security architecture to help protect against unauthorized lateral movement and access to high-value assets. When implemented correctly, micro-segmentation offers the security ESXi and vSAN users need while providing tremendous application visibility.

In this webinar, you’ll learn:
• Why you need micro-segmentation and how it works
• How customers are using it to solve problems and protect their assets in virtualized ESXi and vSAN environments
• 5 steps to implementing a micro-segmentation strategy for your data center and public cloud

All live attendees who opt-in to share their information with the Sponsor will be entered into a drawing to win an $100 Amazon Gift Card.

NetApp Webcast: Building a VMware Private Cloud with NetApp HCI

NetApp Webcast: Building a VMware Private Cloud with NetApp HCI

Topic: Your users need you to be more responsive, but when your hardware is keeping you from responding quickly, you look like the big roadblock. With development teams reminding you every day that they can get resources from the public cloud immediately, you are pressured to bridge the gap. VMware Private Cloud for NetApp HCI delivers a win-win option by enabling public cloud-like self-service via vRealize Suite that can drive dynamic usage of infrastructure resources including NSX on NetApp HCI, a flexible yet performant and scalable hybrid cloud infrastructure. HCI is the fastest growing infrastructure market segment and it is no wonder with its typical administrative advantages. However, NetApp HCI also gives you enterprise features you need like multi-tenancy, independent scaling of resources for real world workload optimization and application performance guarantees. Come to this session to learn how to build a VMware's modern private cloud feature set on top of NetApp HCI that delivers users with easy, predictable results at cloud speed and IT with complete configuration, monitoring, and bill-back capabilities.

Key Takeaways:
• Integrate cloud services for the future with an elastic infrastructure for hybrid clouds that supports your dynamic business.
• Tackle new challenges by accelerating new services with a private cloud that allows end users to consume IT resource through on-demand, self-service methods.
• How to build a self-service portal to supply permanent or transient virtualization resources including compute, storage and network
